Bike MS - Bike to Create a World Free of MS

 TRAIL OF THE COEUR D'ALENES

September 8-9, 2012

  Bike small

Cycle a Northwest treasure...the "Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes" on a journey of scenic routes, spectacular fall foliage and unsurpassed hospitality.   Travel the historic Union Pacific rail beds along lakes, over the 3100' long railroad bridge and through the ancestral lands of the Coeur d'Alene Nation. The Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes is a non-motorized route.

Bike MS is a fully supported tour…so cyclists can look forward to rest stops every 12-18 miles, catered meals and of course volunteers stationed along the route with specialties in bike mechanics, communications and medical care.

Thank you for joining us in our fight against multiple sclerosis by participating in Bike MS 2012. While many of us will never know what it’s like to live with MS, we can still do something for those who do.  The Inland Northwest Chapter has one of the highest prevalence rates of MS in the world and serves over 2,500 people in eastern Washington and northern Idaho.

If you need further information, or have questions, please contact the Bike MS Staff at (509) 482-2022 or by email at wai@nmss.org.

What if you cannot make it to this year’s Bike MS (i.e. you have a commitment you just cannot miss or you are out of town…)?!? We are going to miss you, but you can still participate... become a Virtual Rider!  As a Virtual Rider you can be a member of a team, create a Web page, have access to our online fundraising tools, participate in fundraising contests and even become a VIP Fundraiser. Don’t let a date conflict stop you from doing something about MS NOW! Registration for Virtual Riders is FREE and you can claim all prizes at all fundraising levels just as our regular participants (at the $250 level you get the event long sleeve t-shirt and finisher medal)!  Just register here and select the Virtual Rider option when registering and remember… it is free!
